do Jesus's teachings words mean anything to you?? like when he says this..........

5"And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 6But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. 7And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.
8"Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. 9In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11Give us this day our daily bread.
12And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

14"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Some health websites say you should drink around 8 glasses of water a day but I've heard that we actually get enough liquid from the food we eat so only need one or two glasses of water. Surely our ancestors (or nomads in Africa or aboriginies in Australia) didn't carry that much water everywhere

My friend asked a question asking people to bless my marriage. I see some on here are confused. Ok, here is enough of the story so you know what happened, but not all of it. I married my ex husband at 18. He was run by culture and ignored what everyone said starting about 2 years into the marriage until it ended in its fifth year. During those 5 years, we had 2 children, a boy and a girl. Due to what had happed between my ex and I, I was given full custody and the divorce I used my islamic rights to get. He has no right to see them, and we don't need his money as we are very well off as it is. I also had a good friend during this entire time who was talking to my mom as my ex was extremely jealous. Through the divorce, my best friend was there for me. After the divorce went through, we started to talking again and decided it would be good to start a relationship. He proposed a short while ago, and now we are marrying in May. Does that clear the air, those that didn't know?

Immigration is a basic human freedom to move freely in this world. This planet belongs to all forms of life and just as nature roams and migrates, so does humans. Walls have never stoped anyone from going to where he wants to get to. Even prison walls have failed to keep them in.

You may have the latest processor and graphics card but there is always bottleneck at the hard disk. Would it be smarter to invest in a moderate processor, graphics card and get a raid? What are your thoughts on this? I think one of the biggest problems on computers is waiting for the hard disk to stop churning when it is doing something in the background. My PC seems to hang as I need to wait for the access to stop before I can use my computer. My computer is around 4 years old and has a Segate 80GB 7200 RPM drive. I was thinking of upgrading but am wondering if I should invest in a raid drive?

Today, by the slimmest possible margin, the Supreme Court outlawed the procedure that anti-abortionists have labeled "partial birth abortion." This was a big win for the Religous Right, Jerry Falwell, the "Moral" Majority, Pat Robertson, American Evangelicals and other Christian groups who have tried for years to outlaw a woman's right to choose.

Regardless of what you feel about this particular issue, here is the question: Which is more frightening for America, and more dangerous to your freedoms and personal beliefs:

1. Having the Federal Government make your most personal and intimate medical decisions for you, rather than you making those decisions with your doctor's advice

2. Having religious groups and zealots force their beliefs upon you and all Americans?

Before you answer, remember, the next powerful religious political movement could be Mormons, Christian Scientists, Jehovah's Witnesses, or Muslims. Would you still support religious groups dictating our laws?

I sure like to see those bikers spill. Today I put those tire spikes on the road, they make tires pop. Their tires popped, and a group of them hurt themselves paaaa-retty bad! I stood in my window, and laughed. Am I wrong?
