I use a tablet called "Farteeze" I live in South Africa,so don't know if you would get the same brand where you are. Their active ingredient is activated charcoal, and they work really well. My Boxer has the most vile smelling farts, and without them, we would probably all have been gassed by now. I am sure your vet could give you something containing activated charcoal as a remedy.

My boston terrier also farts a lot. I'm always surprised that such an awful smell can come from such a small dog... with such an innocent looking face too. He too has woken me up due to farting, he sleeps on my bed and in winter crawls under the blankets - he once farted under there and my head was also under the blankets - really nasty!
Anyway, I got little peppermint and charcoal tablets which I give him when I remember (ideally once per day), and that helps a bit. I switched him to a raw diet (as he had many allergies - and consequently frequent diarrhoea = more farting) which also helped significantly.
But alas, he still farts now and then. Nowhere near as much as before though. Honestly though, boston's and pugs are quite similar and if your pug's built anything like my boston, then it may just be a fact of life! Small price to pay in the end though, trust me.

Many breeds have the comparable issues. attempting a organic weight-help plan, which you prepare dinner is named BARF. Yahoo has many communities that furnish recioes and help. Canned nutrition is a take care of. It isnt large for any breed's tooth and could be used as quickly as in an magnificent collectively as. it could additionally be a criminal on your gas subject. I completely have faith a dry kibble that your vet sells is the ideal. you have caught alotta income those 2 pug youngsters so why no longer a kibble it truly is particular for their desires? Your vet or a powerful feed save will comprehend precisely what's critical. It relies upon on their a while and weight. many situations after we feed a kibble packed with "filler" it makes them income weight and packed with gas and frumpy. a a approaches better high quality weight-help plan extends their interest point.

lol - I think the crate was the best solution! We have a very small kitten, and we had to ban her from the bedroom. She smelled like she was 6 foot 4 and weighed 275. And always had to do it about 3 a.m. Took the curl right out my hair, and darn near made my eyelashes fall out.

First check her food to make certain there is no corn or soy or beet pulp. Those are the culprits that pugs can't completely digest. If her kibble or canned food has none of the above, then you can give her a spoon of yogurt to aid her digestion.
I Love pugs!

The obvious answer is ask your Vet. Would you really take anyone's advice on the internet? My Black Lab farts a lot, I find that Freebreeze helps a bit. Most of the time I just bury my face in the pillow and say "Oh, Shannon!" But, it's a small price to pay for such a nice dog.

You might want to get her checked out by the vet. Make sure it's not worms, etc. Perhaps change her food. Pugs are notorious for clearing a room though.......

Like wise, my pug has a similar problem. But as it is natural and everyone and every animal fart, just let it be.
