Hello Judas,
Strictly speaking it's not an auto show but every year Coolangatta (on Queensland's southern coast) holds a street festival called "WinterSun" (so aptly named because of our exceptionally mild winters).
This festival runs over a week; it is a "Rock 'n' Roll Festival but one of the biggest drawcards is the restored automobiles.
They colourfully line Marine Parade; this street follows the Pacific Ocean.
You can easily spend a day strolling along the road looking at these beauties; the sun glinting off the awesome paintwork and spotless chrome-work.

Last summer. My nephew has been beefing up one of those "Fast and Furious" cars (as I call it). He's done all his own work, including the speakers and most of the sound system. It's looking really good. Before that was the Classic Car show in St. Ignace, Michigan (I'm not too far from there). I get excited on Cruise Night when they all cruise around town and can show off their sound systems and neons. But mostly I like the old cars, like the Mustangs (66-68), I love to hear the growl of the engines. Gets me all tingly.

I've never been to what you are probably referring to as an "auto show." I have, however, been to an antique auto show. It was about 5 years ago. It was soooo cool. I saw one car that looked like Bonnie and Clyde should have driven it. I also saw a mustang that was the car of my dreams from '65. It was great.

I never been, but I been to an AIR show with airplanes 7 or 8 years ago on a high school field trip. It was fun & interesting. I'd like to go to an auto show because these new cars look amazing!

Last year when we went to the British International Motor Show in London Docklands and I was bored silly! I only went cos i heard Jeremy Clarkson would be there!

I used to model at the Long Beach Grand Prix every year, and THAT'S as close as I've ever been to an "Auto Show." Inside the building they had cars displayed, and I would be there to help promote the company, like Toyota or whoever... I hated the drunk men's comments all day long....but it paid REALLY well so.....I did it for like 7 years! =) ~XxOxX~
