I am at the stage in the process where Romeo is in his cat box on top of the toilet. He jumps up on his own without fear. However, when I lower the litter into a smaller bowl (that fits flush with the toilet seat), he doesn't know what to do. The space is smaller, and he gets so frustrated that he just jumps down without having gone at all. So I replaced the smaller bowl from inside of the toilet, to his box on top of the lid again. Any tricks to help him out?

My wife and I don't have kids. We're talking about parent styles. One of us knows a parent who hit a teenager and was reported to children's services, which raised the question. How old is too old for it to be an effective teaching tool? Is it ever a justifyable teaching tool? How do you teach kids, toddlers, without the threat of pain? Is this an acceptable plan for teaching?
1. Kid does something wrong.
2. Parent asks kid to stop, explains why; doesn't.
3. Parent tells kid to stop; doesn't.
4. Parent tells kid to stop, threatens "quiet time"; doesn't.
5. Parent insists on quiet time; ignores.
6. Parent threatens spanking; doesn't.
7. Parent smacks kids bottom.

I assume this isn't abuse. Is this acceptable? Is there a better way?

I am 20 years old and a college student. Next school year I will need as much money as possible for my student loan. According to the FAFSA, I am not eligible to be independent. Is the same true for loans? Am I better off claiming myself or letting my parents claim me?

Everyone knows that creationism is nothing more than a ploy to try and teach religion in schools. It's very obvious. Why do christians care so much if they teach evolution in schools. If any of these so called "christians" had ever actually read the Bible, then they would realize that pretty much all of science goes against the Bible. I bet if Christians had it their way, they would take science class totally out of school and teach the Bible.

Okay so my shoulders kinda ache like a dull ache. my whole arm kinda hurts too sometimes. along with my hands which are kinda cold. my legs are okay and my neck kinda hurts. i sometimes crack my neck could that be whats causing this? could it be growing pains? i've been sleeping on the couch lately so could that be why?

I will be having a birthday party for my son, the theme is dinosaurs, would like to make some at least 6' dinosaurs, I was thinking somenthing really big maybe ten pages big. the easiest thing would be using wood but i have no tools and can't draw. i was hoping for one of those that print out as a puzzle. thanks

This is the lesson of my life or something.

It seems that when I dont give a dam about someone, they love me, but if I show interest I give 100%.
and they call me a freak or something, because I dont play stupid games.

I am a freight train when it comes to showing my attention. As far as acting all cool and sexy and acting like I dont care half the time. well, I just dont have the patience!
