I'm assuming since you said wires you have a 4.6l. For plugs and wires you need two xtra elbows and some patience. You also need an assortment of extensions ( 3/8 wobble ones work best) a wobble plug socket that is narrow enough to fit in the hole, a standard one will work too, a blow nozzle to blow the holes out before you take the plugs out, and a flexhead ratchet. For the O2's you need a 22mm or 7/8 wrench. The EGR, if it isn't broke don't fix it.

Don't worry about the EGR if it's not throwing a code. O2 sensors will give you a code when they fail too, so I wouldn't replace them unless they're more than 150,000 miles old. Plugs and wires would be good to change after ten years. There's not really much to tune up on injected solid state ignition vehicles. Mostly grease and fluids and a really good inspection of belts, hoses, battery and all that stuff. Definitely a new serpentine belt if it still has the original, and a transmission service. A radiator and brake line flush if they haven't been done.

you dont need tools to change the plug wires, just pull 1 off of a time(so you dont get the firing order mixed up),plugs,a ratchet,a 5/8 plug socket and maybe a extension, egr valve, probably a ratchet, and socket, probably a new gasket,02 sensor,a wrench,to fit the sensor.

New wires / New plugs / New EGR / New O2 Sensor This will work for a tune up. For a Toon up you may need new speakers and a new Head unit.
