We have several monitors at home which double up as a tv. when i plug my laptop to them, everything seems fine (the monitor displays the laptop icons, programmes and images just like they appear on the laptop itself), but when I try to watch a movie that is playing on the laptop on the tv screen, the area where the film should appear just stays black. dvds played on the laptop don't show up either.

Experiences ?? Here I'm NOT speaking about reincarnation But Eternal life. Have you ever had a profound spiritual exeperience that makes you believe so ??Such as a New Death experience Or anything simillar to that - either you yourself have gone through or heard from someone ??
For me it's a mixture of all those things - my faith in God, my own spiritual experiences & the testimonies of others that makes me believe that THERE IS indeed a life after death Or to say so a life beyond this life. I am thinking about relocating because N.C. has a hugely unfair tax system ie; personal, local, state. (IT seems to me that the sheep -(taxpayers) are happy to give and give and give.)
I was looking at Tennessee, or South Carolina (leaning towards the former) Maybe Texas but I think the property tax is getting a bit high.
