I strongly believe there is a life after this life and that we certainly do have a purpose. My three year old daughter told me the other day that she had just seen her grandpa. She described him perfectly, down to the very last detail. She has never seen him before, since he has been gone for several years. I believe that they are watching over us and very aware of the lives we live. I too, have a deep faith in God. There are so many times I have felt his power in my life and have had answers to my prayers. It is comforting to know that this is not the end, but I believe a test to see how we will choose to live our lives. I could never deny there is a God. I know he is always there for me.

Faith in God, also some experiences. I was "contacted" by my Grandmother, on the night she died. ( I wasn't informed of her death til the next morning) I have also been "contacted" by my sister a couple times since she died. I think she has moved on now though. I have had out of body experiences, and have a sense of my spirit as a thing that can exist outside of the physical presence.

First came my faith in God, then the experiences followed. As you said above, it's a combination, but still it always comes back to faith first. Experiences can always be debated even in ones own mind.

existence is a nonmaterial shape with spiritualism. If the nonmaterial shape of existence does no longer exchange, the attributes of existence won't exchange. The dying of flesh isn’t the top of existence.. existence is eternal. The so-called dying is barely the exchange of the service for the being. After the dying of the flesh, the non secular entity will enter yet another service for being. After a dogs dies, that's reincarnated right into a guy. Then the flesh of the dogs has died yet its non secular entity is reborn in the service of a guy.

"The Vedic literature tells us that we souls can inhabit any of millions of forms of life, including aquatics, plants, insects, reptiles, birds, animals, and human beings. At the time of death, we leave one body and enter a new one. That is called reincarnation.
The concept of reincarnation is not as foreign as it might seem. We can observe that we change from one body to another in our own lifetime. Your body at birth is completely different from your adult body. Yet throughout these changes, you—the conscious self—remain the same. Similarly, the conscious self remains the same from one body to the next in the cycle of reincarnation.
Our present body is the result of a long series of actions and reactions in previous lives. The law that governs this is known as karma: every action has a reaction. Our previous actions have produced our present body, and our current actions will determine our next body.
Krishna, through the agency of material nature, provides all these bodies for us in response to our desire to enjoy in the material world. Yet all species of life also share in the miseries of the material world. So for us eternal souls, moving from body to body means experiencing every imaginable kind of suffering. Only in the human form can we free ourselves from the vicious cycle of reincarnation—by reestablishing our eternal, loving relationship with Krishna."
