I have taken key out but car still running. Can't use key, so haev stalled it on purpose, but electrics still running and I need to disconnect the battery

Yes it is under the rear seat and it is a devil to get the bottom of the seat up. Get cracking now as some electronics will not like sitting powered up without the car running.

could be in an odd place. I have a Buick and the battery is under the back seat. who would have thought?

it s either under the back seat or may be in luggage compartment on the right hand side at the rear as you look at it

Look under the bonnet.

open the hood,then look for it,usually it sits beside the radiator
