i am - ive been for 4 months a will be a few more.
i was hit by a car (hit and run), and had 8 tib/fib fractures, it was shattered (thank God doctors could save it), 2 surgeries, titanium rod inside my tibia, 5 screws and still in cast. i might need more surgeries because you can see from outside how my leg is broken in peaces.
oh, yeah - i was a dancer...

Yes,me too, since April 22nd 2001,in and out of hospital,at home now, will never work again.Life is good for a Chinese tram driver who lied through his rotten teeth to save his employer from paying compensation. For me my life as I had it is gone and will never be the same.I was on Tramadol,it is good, sent me to places I didn't know existed, spaced out all day,I would go to the kitchen five or six times for something and by the time I had walked the nine steps to get there I had forgotten what it was I wanted,so yes,I suppose the tramadol did it's job,I only found out that I was allergic to it when the hospital was doing a nerve root block in the spine to try and stop the pain and I was hooked up to an ECG machine and it showed a heart rate of 128 bpm and very nearly killed me,this coupled with all of the rest of the things that have happened since the accident,a pacemaker implant, asthma carpal tunnel syndrome, celulitis, neck and shoulder problems, yea ,I am at home too.sucks big time.

i am. my dog got loose of his leash and i had to run after him. he had run acrros the street and i had ran to move him out of the way. this was a stupid act by me but i wanted my dog to be okay. so i ran into the street and pushed my dog away. i fell forward with one of my legs extended behind me. with this happening a car was right next to it and it didnt stop. so as sad as it is my leg was run over, and i cant even begin to describe the pain. i was in the hospital, and luckily, they did not have to amputate. so i was in the hospital for a week and i got home 3 days ago. i am not to go anywhere for 6 months. i cant even walk with crutches. so i am sitting here in a wheel chair with nothing better to do at 3:45 in the morning but answer questions. and dont worry my dog is fine.
