A person can become a victim when he is exploited. Suppose you have had a miraculous escape or cure people try to exploit you and make money.In this sense you can be a victim.

I don't believe in miracles. but if they where at all possibles we would alter reality with possible disastrous consequences for someone else.

"Demon" means a distributor of fates and fortunes. Distribution has to do with the idea of knowledge of particular sequences. If you have been the victim of somebody's sequenced distribution of fates or fortunes, it might not feel so great!
