Depends on your weight, the more you weigh the more calories you burn.

Your first two respondents, being the only ones I could read before I came to answer your question, have very good answers. Your weight is very important in the formula to determine how many calories you burn. But, also, your overall condition of health is important since a healthier person will burn less calories doing the same event than a "softer" and untrained person. Also, the geography of where you are running is a very important part of the formula, as is the weather conditions, including barometric pressure and wind direction and speed. As a former long distance runner and VERY AVID bicyclist, I can tell you that we made general statements as to our calorie burning per run or ride, but I can tell you that I, an experienced rider and runner, burned a whole lot less calories than a guy who came with us a few times and weighed AT LEAST 350 pounds at around 6ft. 1in.. I'm surprised he could survive even a fraction of the ride he undertook (which he did survive a FRACTION of the ride we began), and I wouldn't let him stand on the bumper of my car to get his bike off the roof-top bike rack. So, there are a LOT of other variables to consider besides distance and time. Oh, and your age is a significant variable too. Look seriously into the health factors of what you are doing. It may save your life. God Bless you.

That depends on how much you weigh. If you weigh 135, you would burn about 235 calories with that particular workout. If you weigh more, you burn more calories.

Go to an online calculator so you can enter your weight and intensity.

Also, if you want to burn fat, run for 30 minutes.
