Help them to see it as a positive experience in their life.

If it's supervised, you know the child is safe.

So, why not help the child learn to see what that other parent might have to offer them?

ask the child why he or she does not want to see the other parent maybe they are upset at something that was said or angry because the other parent is not in the home anymore. If it is something serious such as the other parent physical, emotional or verbal abuse the child refuse visititation. If it is something simple as being upset because the other parent is not in the home then talk to your child explain that just because you and daddy are not together that does not mean the child is not loved and wanted explain in simplyterms the child can understand that you and daddy are two different people who cannot live together but lvoe him or her and will always be there for him or her

If it is a court order, you must do everything in your power. If this is still a problem then see if the courts can appoint a guardian adlidem for your children. They will talk to them and try to figure out why they are having such a problem seeing their other parent. With out one you could be held in contempt of court a prosecuted accordingly. Talk with your attorney and see what he or she says. You must try your best though. Good luck. I've been there.

Take the issue to family court and have the child present. Some courts will allow the child to speak for themselves.

well how old is the child?? if under 12 or so. might not have a choice and the best thing you can do is be positive about it,, but if over 12 the court might consider the child's feelings..

good luck

Nothing. You nor the court can not force a child to see their non custodial parent.
