I have a standard in writing in front of me, but I don't know where it comes from. The standard is stated as "Escape ladders must also be provided from service levels so that no point on a platform is horizontally more than 75 ft in walking distance from a main or secondary exit. An Engineer that I am working with believes this to be an OSHA standard, but I have not been able to find it on their site. I suspect it may be a NFPA standard, but you need a paid subscription to search their site. If someone does know this to be OSHA, do you know which code number it is?
