No,

And VERY few Christians would want to live in that world.

Peace!

If the conviction of those who are Christian is strong enough and they feel capable of defending their position or even the need to they shouldn't feel threatened enough by comments which question the religion. There is also the question of censorship as purely because you dislike something it does not mean you should ban it after all it could work in reverse as well and any sentiment showing a religious viewpoint should be censored. Who is to say that one point is more valid than the other as each has its advocates.

Perhaps not censored but investigated thoroughly for heresy and if found to be contrary to the orthodox beliefs of the fathers of the church the person who expresses such sentiments should be given the opportunity to bring his or her thinking into agreement with the True Faith. Such methods of persuasion as the thumb screw, the iron maiden and the rack are well-known to be effective in convincing the heretic to rejoin the fold.

No, not at all.

I do, however, think that people should ask their questions respectfully, like you and a few others :0)

But asking questions like "Are all Christians mentally challenged?" or "Do you all know that you are going to hell?" should be looked at a little more closely.

I love Y!A, especially the R&S section, but it's difficult to not take some of the insults to heart, especially since many of them are so venemous and spiteful.

Closed systems like Iran and North Korea have a built in expiration date, fortunately.

It's a long one, but they eventually decay and find themselves unable to maintain control.

Fortunately, most of the West has already learned this lesson, even most Christian Denominations.

It's just the Fundamentalists, mostly in the US, who still don't get it.

It depends. Which version of Chrisitanity?
Well, any sentiment that disagrees with ME should be censored. Don't you agree?

It has been tried many times before in a variety of place and to different degrees. Would never work without it ending in mass revolt.

No, no need for that. God is going to finish what He is up to, it is just in His time. You always want to be on the side of the truth. And that is why we should hear each other out. : )

No, or have you not noticed we have the "FREEDOM OF RELIGION" here in the US?
That DOES INDEED translate to the "FREEDOM FROM RELIGION" as well as "FREE SPEECH!"

Do censor descent would mean dismantling the entire Constitution as we know it!

censored....such a harsh reaction for bad taste or tacky behavior. One still should be held accountable without being censored towards all bad behavior or speech regardless if it is christian or not
