Ideally, I don't want to fall out with them, but I find it repulsive. She claims the dog can't get out, but we've seen it.
She denies the "poop" is from her dog.
It runs free with no collar on too. It's not a viscious dog - it's a big soft chocolate labrador.
If my husband finds out the dog has done it again, there'll be big trouble!

I don't know if you have a video recorder or not, but next time the dog gets out - try recording the dog. Then show this tape to the neighbor as proof that the "dog never gets out". I know this sounds gross (sorry), but record the dog making a "deposit" in your yard. The other thing I have heard of people doing is to take the "deposit " over to the owners house and leave it in a small package with a note that reads something like " I thought you might like this back". I don't know if your neighbor works away from home or not, but if they work away from home try calling the Humane Society to come and pick up the dog. Or you might see about renting a hav-a- heart cage that you can trap the dog in. It won't hurt the dog, but will scare the dog.
I had an incident where the neighbor dog kept getting out and the owner never thanked me for putting the dog back in the yard. One day I got fed up with it and put the dog in my home and called the pound. I figured if the people like their dog well enough then they would have to pay to get the dog out. It worked, they kept their dog confined better.
I am sorry that your neighbors are so inconsiderate. I hope this helps some.
