Buy memory......make sure it's compatiable with your laptop/computer first........It's a great way to make your computer run alot smoother without paying to much. Thanks

you can, but it will get expensive... the easyest way is to buy a new one for about $300 ... cheaper then doing it yourselv, since geting a new motherboard/cpu combo will cost you at least $150 ... then you will most likely have to get new ram for $50 ... depending how old it is you might also need a new grapihc card and/or sound card. which run anywhere from $20-200. And thats if your computer is upgradable. If you bought one with onboard graphic card or sound card then you'll have to rplace those anyways. It all depends how old your computer is. You might also end up needing a network card $20. And then you have to make sure you have a compaible frame and power supply. All this not touching your Harddrive.

It really depends on how old your computer is and what you need to upgrade. If you just need RAM or a video card, it can be fairly inexpensive ($150 or more depending on what you need/want) but if you're going for DVDROM/CDROM, new harddrive...you may want to invest in a new computer. The buying seperate things for upgrading will end up costing you more than just getting a new one with everything already included.

Sure there is a way. Many times it is cheaper to buy a new computer then it is to upgrade an older computer. I would have to know many things about your computer before I could give you reliable information. If you would go to www.belarc.com you can get a complete profile of your computer by downloading and installing their free software. The only thing that the profile will show is all of your hardware and software that you have in your PC. It does not need your files as your files are your personal info and is not needed.

My email address is kimbadog99@yahoo.com. If you trust me, send me a copy of your computer profile and then I can advise you with specifics. If not, maybe one of your friends can help you since you know they can be trusted.

Depends on what you want to upgrade.
If you are handy, and are good with computers (although if you were, I doubt you would be asking this,) then you can, it's pretty simple. Go to newegg.com or buy.com, and search for what you need. First you will need to determine what kind of stuff you need (processor socket, ram size, hardrive connectors, etc)

Good luck.
Or just get your brothers girlfriends brother to do it for you. :)

more info needed.

You can do maintenance things to make your current system quicker.

Just adding memory will help system performance.
