Three registers on my max demand meter read as follows: Max dem 1 = 13.81kw.
Max dem 2 = 10.86kw. Max dem 3 = 2.92 kvar. These settings do not alter - albeit my max demand meter has never been re-set. What do these settings mean and are these figures used to multiply average usage.

Since I've had this meter installed my consumption in kwh has increased by three times my previous historical kwh usage.

Shatter this myth. Its written every where that if you turn your heater , heated seats and radio , wipers , headlights , etc it increases the petrol consumption.
In fact Clarkson in an econony test turned everything off - fool i think !

Air con and assisted steering are mechanically attached to the engine so i can understand them having a bearing on consumption if they are used , but not the above items.

Surely this myth is rubbish ?

The generator still spins at the same speed and has the same resistance what evers on

Intelligent replies only please , none of you guessers who just about know where to put the key it

But since i have gotten onto the internet i am seeing bad things written about him, and it is upsetting to me, why are these bad things being written about him?

in the 5th & 6th centuary before Islam, women could trade, own property, inherit fully & choose who the would have a baby with, they could also enjoy the choice of several different partners.
They were not prostitutes but women of position in a tribe.
It seems to me Islam put women back in the stone age and still does.

I don't know all the techincal details, but with nanotechnology they are saying it will be possible to bend light in such a way as to make objects invisible. All very sci-fi I know, but if it IS possible, would you use it?

I am subscribed to an email list which has men over 50 cycling at -20oC in Canada .... I've followed all their 'loose layers' tips and I'm 30, in England, with freezing hands at -1oC. I cycle 7 miles to work each day (and then back.) My current gloves are supposedly designed for 'Ice Climbing' and cost £80. If I wear a hat and keep the rest of my body sweltering hot it helps.

Is there a treatment? What if I wanted to climb Everest or visit The North Pole?

In need of YOUR opinions on the UK MMR controversy for University report!

I am a second year student at the University of Glamorgan, Wales, UK. I am currently writing a report on the UK's MMR controversy which began in 1998. Whilst many undertones of the controversy have been resolved, controversial myths still remain. Many believe that the single 'combined' vaccine has led to cases of autism in young children, whilst others stand firm in the belief that the controversy was a case of public paranoia, often hyped by the media. The public play a crucial part in determining the way forward with our children's health. I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR WHAT THE GENERAL PUBLIC THINK! Please send me your opinions on the MMR controversy, wherever you stand on the issue, and if used in my report, all will remain anonymous and confidential (unless of course you would like me to credit you!) Thank you for your contribution and your time to answer this question.

Am a single lady but I have a problem with my tommy. Its too big. Though i eat a normal meal 3 times a day. But anytime i put something in my stomach, my stomach looks bigger as if am 7months pregnant. I drink a lot of water, but it makes the problem worse, as my stomach tends to look even bigger when i take water. I have friends that eats a lot more than I do, but still have a leveled tommy. What is the problem, should I stop eating? or should i eat just once a day, so that my stomach will reduce? Its so embarassing, no clothes fits me because of my tommy.
