Unlike most other countries and the national newscasts where there is only 1 weather bulletin per hour or half hour, weather in local news is checked at the beginning, a couple of minutes later and immediately before the newscast closes. Furthermore, it seems as if the weather personalities and weather segments in local news are highly promoted.

don't they get any qualified training? the gloves they wear are to protect their customers, NOT to keep their hands clean!!!! I have watched them wipe benches down with gloved hands, then put these same gloved hands into all to food to make the rolls, not only introducing bacteria from the benches, but also cross contaminating the food, by handling it all with the same gloves......
This is in Australia, I'm not familiar with the practice in other countries

I have met so many people that think that in South-Africa animals run wild and that there is no infrastructure. If you vist this country - when you get off the plane you either get attacked by wild animals or criminals?

Do people realise that we actually have more city than wild life and that wild life can only be found in nature reserves. We have everything you will find in other countries - yes even satalite tv.

Is there realy people out there that think South-Africa has nothing but animals and criminals?

My parents have never had me as any priority, my father believed put his work & life before us in belief that we'd always be there, my mom began verbally abusing us, and then physically abused me. I have never been good enough, never been accepted, get depressed & hate myself more when looking in a mirror, I skipped school for I wanted nothing with it, & couldnt deal with it for I felt more depressed, I smoked weed to deal with my problems, I was an embarressment to my mom for seeing a councellor, then nagged at for stopping to see them. I was blamed for being the person I had become cause my mom had to seek a councellor & join parent groups 4 she didn't no how to deal with me. I've never been believed in when trying 2 explain how i was left alone, ignored, & punished wrongfully, etc, being a problem for never associating with family, & never being trusted. I now use drugs & alcohol to escape & hope, & wish to do so much that I od to die escape this terrible world, I dont belong in

I have a thoracic compression fracture (t9-10) and a disk herniation (t7-8). I have been through physical theory - it made pain worse and caused swelling; 3 epidural injections - no relief; and now I'm getting facet injections near herniated disk. The first of those injections did nothing but cause more pain. Tomorrow I get my second one. I am frustrated, in chronic pain, and nothing is helping. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge that they could please share? The pain is getting worse and has already effected my bladder and it hurts to laugh now. Any advice please? I don't know what to do.

i have just been on a few flights with Ryanair & you can sit anywhere but rows 3 & 4, the plane was i would say full on each of the flights but still no one could sit in these rows, is there a technical reason ie: weight distribution? i find it strange! they stayed empty all the time

G/F and I broke up almost a month ago. I still talk to her abit and at first I was ready to move on but she seemed as though she still had interest in me. She is the one who broke up with me so I was a bit confused but continued on my way. I gave her a little concern while we were out one night. That same day I felt bad almost as though I was trying and I wanted to but in another way I didn't. I wrote her a letter telling her I agree with her on the fighting and believe being apart is best. All together our relationship had issues because we never gave each other space. This was what the first break up was about. She still loves me the same as she did before but she's enjoying her freedom and so am I. What do I do?? State all these things to her and let her know I really care about her and love her. Should I tell her this was our problem and I would be happy to have both her and my freedom to an extent? The love is still there but she fears for her freedom.

I found a new 2006 Giant TCR Composite 0 w/ full warranty at a nearby bike shop, cost $2400. I currently have a 2006 Specialized Allez Elite, But am looking to do several double centuries in the summer, some with 16,000+ feet of climbing. I would use my allez as a commuter, but the tcr as my Sunday's finest etc. Should I shill out the cash, or not?
