I have struggled with that question for as long as I can remember. My parents and everyone around me has always instructed me to believe whatever is in our holly book as it is written, yet no one can prove to me that those are the words of god. By all accounts, the book was manufactured, printed, sold and distributed by human beings yet I am supposed to believe everything that is in it.

How can god hold us accountable in the afterlife for not having faith ? God gave us intellect, yet he expects us to believe that the holly book contains his words without any proof? If god wanted us to follow a certain religion, why doesn't he schedule a one day seminar for all of the inhabitants of this earth and instruct us on how to live our life according to his wishes?

I honestly believe that anyone who follows a book who's true identity he/she cannot believe is lying to themselves. Common people, if god wanted us to live our life a certain way, he would contact us directly.

My boyfriend is sleeping (has been for the past 5 hours). I can't go in the bedroom because he's sleeping..but that's where the only TV's at. I can't go anywhere because it is snowy and icey out. I don't know what to do on the computer and that's the only entertainment I have right now. I would read a book or something but there's not much around here.

Any suggestions on what I can do?

My husband and I are planning to have two more children in the next three years but we do not have a clue what to name the child if he is a boy.

My son has a very prestigious name passed down so we want something that "goes" with it but not identical. His name is Martin Eloy ___ IV. It's the Spanish not Caucasian form of Martin.

The children will be half Latino so I would like to incorporate some of that heritage in there.

A name in particular that we’re considering is “Andres” but I’m not too sure. It would be Andy for short after a good friend who was like a brother to us passed away. If we were to name him that we're stuck on the middle name.

Any Suggestions? Thanks!

i know its not good and most people say it is because i need attention but i dont or most would say i want to die. im not affraid of death but thats not it either. i have had so many things wrong with my life (father left me and my mother when i was 6 i was daddys little girl... mom does drugs.. METH WEED and drinks all the time.... sister and brother are 21 and i see them maybe once evrey 3 months my father is in rehab has been for 3 years in and out though and there isnt much i can say or do about any of it and thats the way i leave all the pain in my heart.. if for one second i can not think about all that and just think about the blaid and my wrist ill be fine. What do you think i need help or i just want to die i really need to know thank you..

im taking out my factory gm delco head unit out of my 2000 chevy malibu ls...and putting in a sony aftermarket head unit....with the antenna that unplugs from the delco unit...fit into the sony head unit? or will i have to buy some kind of adaptor? thanks all replys will be grateful!! james

I know many pro illegals claim that they are "pay taxes" and are just "hard working people that want a better opportunity" ....but I also know that many steal Social Security #s and legal citizens identity. Is this how they claim they "pay taxes", by using a stolen Social Security #? Why can't these thefts be traced back to the thieves stealing the identities?? How can these pro illegals claim that this is ok??

what is the deal with parents not know their daughters are pregnant. Hello ?
Don't you grocery shop and buy their feminine napkins and or tampons or don't you notice they haven't had a period or they've gained weight?
I know back in the day when my older sister got knocked up, my mother was ontop of her asking her questions and got it out of her that she was casue my mother was watching and being there and knew something was amiss
