Thanks doforian- found that it was indeed going broke and was moved to Valdosta by the university.

I believe you may be talking about SciTrek in Atlanta. According to Wikipedia it was closed down in 2004 due to lack of funding. They have a website, but it's not very good and may not have been updated. I would suggest calling or e-mailing them to see if they've reopened yet.

That place was cool, but it closed due to lack of funding. But, there is Fernbank Science Museum, near Decatur, and you could go to the Discory Place museum in Augusta. It's great also.

i remeber that place i went there when i was little but it shut down.
