yeah, you just have to get the little jack plug and plug your antenna into it, and then plug the jack into the back of your radio. It shouldn't cost more than about 5 dollars. They make them for the decades though. Like 1970 through 80, 80 through 90, 90 to 2000 and 2000 to 2010. Get the one that includes your make and model. You should be able to find it right at Wal-mart.....

I think so. I had to get one for my 1999 chevy. Call best buy or circuit city, they should be able to tell you for sure. The antenna plug on most aftermarket stereos are larger than the one in your gm.

you should be good, the older cars/radios had that prob but there all standard.

Dont use a wire harness, especially if you want it to sound good, run new speaker wire and put bass blockers on the mids and highs unless you have one of the super eq cd players.
it's worth it especially if you want to get a sub soon, and if you are,
a good idea is to run your amp wires now then it will be a breeze later

The harness out of your Eclipse won't attach to any aftermarket stereo you purchase. circulate purchase a wiring harness adapter to your Eclipse. You connect the wires from it to the wires on the harness that got here mutually with your new stereo. it could have a itemizing of what wires circulate to what, experience each and every cord up with the corresponding cord on the wiring harness that got here with the recent stereo (12+ volt consistent to twelve+ volt consistent, accessory to accessory, left front speaker - to left front speaker -, and so on. you get the assumption), while they are all linked only plug it in and have a look into it out to be sure each and every thing works earlier you placed each and every thing back mutually. i could advise using crimp connectors to connect the wires, they are low-priced, elementary to apply and make a cleanser deploy, i propose against using tape it only seems undesirable and the crimp connectors get you a greater effective connection thats much less possibly back aside and thats additionally what the setting up places use. for my area I basically use crimp connectors on different peoples stuff, I desire to solder my connections and seal them with warmth shrink tubing on my stuff.
