applesauce, any kind of fruit is nice. fruit juices, the real thing, not punches, those are just liquid sugar. jello, the ones that come in powder and have no calories. veggies like carrots or broccoli heads or romaine lettuce heads. you get the idea. the lower on the food chain, the better.
under no circumstances should you eat starchy things like potato chips unless you're looking to add a tire around your waist and some cancer free radicals in your system. eat starches, just not late. same goes for meat. you'll get indigestion if you don't wait at least 30 minutes after you eat meat or starch before you go back to bed. basically, your goal is to eat something light for a late snack.

I like pringles actually. I know it's not completely normal as a late night snack, but I've just always ate them before bed. It's not real heavy either.

i think a great midnight snack would be sunflower seeds, but if you are tired than i suggest chips or an ice cream sandwich. if you would like something healthy than i would go for cheese and bread sticks (handi-snack?) or maybe goldfish! if you are worried about weight though i suggest two things: no midnight snacks and no soda!
