minnie is a 6month old tortishell female kitten.
she used to be a lovely bundle of fluff, but recently has taken to lying in wait for me and attacking me any chance she gets. is this normal and what should i do about it. should i ignore her behaviour or try to teach her not to do it. minnie is my first cat.

Before,my pc used to check drive C for errors automatically upon start up after it was not properly switch off, (i.e. power failure, power plug was detached from outlet,etc.) Now, it,s not happening anymore. Is there something wrong w/ my pc or I just turned off a setting unintentionally? My pc is Windows Xp Professional

one of them told the other that she didnt know if she wanted to be with her gf anymore,so the other one has said she doesnt even want to be friends as shes too hurt.but the other didnt say it was over just that she was having doubts.why has the gf acted like this saying she cant get over it????????

Hi

So I ordered some contact lenses from Boots a month ago and they still haven't arrived. I rang them after two weeks (given that Christmas had happened so their promise of a week was taken with a pinch of salt) and they told me they were just late and they wouldring me if any problems arose. A few days later I called again and was told that a machine had broken and the lenses would be a few more days.

Then it was that there had been an error and my order had been misplaced. Then it was the machine again. And it was always me having to call them.

So today I went in and they made me sit for 15 minutes while they looked and then told me not yet. This isn't the first time they have messed me around but this is the worst. I had to pay in advance, if I cancelled my order now could I expect any money back? Do I have any rights to a refund due to their poor customer service?

Needless to say I will be changing lens suppliers.

During cold seasons, i get white patches on the skin on the face, hand, stomach, thighs etc after bathing. The white patches do not go even after i rub with water. Is it the problem of the skin, or of the soap used? The skin becomes so dry. please tell me remedy.

I work in a bar and one day when I was talking football with someone, someone else butted in to tell me that the Colts were going to lose beacause Peyton Manning had no heart. They ended up winning the next 2 games against KC and the Ravens just like I predicted, but it still bothered me that someone would say that without any reason for it. So I would like to know from actual football fans not idiots who have no idea what they are talking about, Does he have heart? I think he has huge heart and a huge passion for the game that is incomparable to any player in the NFL. Am i blinded by my love for the Colts?

I'm 13 and I get yelled at a lot so to pass the time and make me feel better I try to think of ways to help the society. right now I want to figure out a way to make a paperless society without having to spend too much money on gadgets and electronics because they are too expensive and if you make a student choose a PDA they'll just be picky about it and it tempts them to cheat. Maybe we can figure out a way to make something identical to paper/a paper substitute.For me I blame the printer because if we stuck to writing
I bet we could have used less paper because of the printer people can print documents in a snap. I'm sticking with a paper substitute because the trees are nearly gone and it is important to preserve them.

Good use or a paper substitute:
1.There would be no difference because I will make it as identical to paper as possible without using anything from trees
2. I dont know why but trees make everything seem so peaceful

I find it slightly wrong that people who earn a normal amount get a bit 4p interest from te bank a year (after they've took off all the interest they've paid TO the bank off!)

YET a rich person gains 1,000s of pounds worth of interest a day/week just for letting their money sit there.

Rich people already have the money - and they get more.
Normal people barely have enough money and they get none.
Poor people have NO money and they get even less.

A bit backward?

My novel centres around two characters, a fiesty but down trodden girl and her best friend, a fiercely loyal and moody guy and the events that led to the moments at the train station between the trains they've gotten onto and the minutes and not the distance that seperates them. It also has a side plot to do with three people that they encounter at the train station and how their appearance at those moments will adversely/positively influence future events as a mere cause and effect.
How does it sound? And what I cannot decide is whether to set it in first or third to tell the story? I've tried both and cannot decide which works more effectively. Opinions, comments?
