I went ot the supermarket today to get my weekly shop for the family. I needed to take the car so i decided to try and do some thing to offset the emissions from my car at the same time.

Instead of putting my washing in the Tumble Dryer before I went out I hung it on the line to dry.
I collected all my Carrier Bags and Cool Bags to use for the shopping instead of using new ones.
Instead of driving the Kids to schoold and going straight to the Supermarket, I walked the kids to school then walked home and got the car.
I took all our empty bottles, old papers and some clothes that the children have grown out of with me and used the recycling centre in the supermarket car park.

What else could I have done?

Do you think I offset my car emissions? (1.6 ltr unleaded fuel, journey of 5 miles approx 15 - 20 minutes driving time. )

Would you or do you do the same?

A few months ago i found a lump in my breast.I went to the hospital where i had a scan and was told it was noyhing.I wasn't given an explanation as to why it appeared or what it could be.Now a few months down the line ive still got it.Im still very worried and want to get it checked again.Will i be taken seriously or will they think im being paranoid.

I wonder if any one can help me.
I've been signed off work by my doctor now for 5 weeks with stress related depression the main cause of this has been related to me job.
I don't feel that I will be able to cope with going back to work in that enviroment and therefore want to hand my notice in, but I dont know if i have to physically work it?
Have spent all morning on the internet with no success.
Can any one point me in the right direction of what to do?

has got used to peeing indoors? I've just acquired a rottwwiler pup, gorgeous dog in every respect other than she's not housetrained and doesn't seem to be getting the idea whatsoever! I've not had this problem with any other dogs I've owned. Any suggestions?

I can't decide on a beauty regime, there is too much info out there.

I have normal skin with a slight dry patch at times near my chin.I don't wear make up and i hardly ever get spots and i have even clear skin without any blemishes.

I wash my face with warm/hot water twice a day but dont use anything else.

I use a moisturiser, because i feel naked without it, but do i need to use a cleanser, toner etc

i sometimes about four times a year exfoliate my face.

My brother is 33, and is visiting my husband and me. We are trying to get him a job in our town, my mother (63, grade 1 school teacher), phoned last night and said he must come home. She's alone and misses him. My father passed away 8years ago. I told her he must think of his future, and there are no jobs in their small town. She said, she doesn't care, she's alone and wants him home. What can I tell her so she can realise how neccesary it is for him to work. I stay in South Africa. He says he wants to take the bus home? i choose lemonade over a coke these days. But really I try to stay away from fizzy drinks.
Does lemonade have caffeine? Are there any side effects to having a pint of lemonade?
