I am from india highly educated from high class army family I married in california state in june 06 now I have temporary green card which is to be reviewed after two years my mother in law is always harassing taunting me on small issues says all nasty things local punjabi language complains to her relatives loudly all the time my husband says nothing always supports mother he has very poor job i am try to cbest to get teachers job they say just work in store not need for good job yet demand money all the time since arrival in usa I am spending money given by my father I bought car for 77000 dollars money was spent by my father so far my father has spent 15000 dollars in six months now they want more money on every smell issue mother in law taunts me humilates me critisises on every small thing Even if i buy some thing from my own money she complains Attimes she gives filthy abuses in local language that is punjabi of india I am brearing it as I have to apply again for geen card

We aquired an old computer w/windows 95 already installed. It seems to be okay except when scandisk runs it says the 'C:\DIR00001 folder is damaged and is invalid.
Well, yeah.. there is nothing there at all.
Does anyone know how I can get this folder off the internet without reinstalling the entire windows 95 (which is pretty much obsolete now) even according to the MS Support Team where I have already tried. No Luck there!

Can anyone help, this would make a nice second computer for us to just mess around on and play games.. no internet or anything fancy.

Oh, and its MS-DOS, sooo old!

im in the system set up and i put it on doly digital 5.1. and i tried with wma pro ( i dont know what that is so i asumm dolby digital 5.1 is the one i want) still no sound

it scares me so much and i sometimes wondering if all the schooling i'm doing now will just be a waste, i wonder if i should even bother getting married and having kids, i would hate to leave my family so soon. my dad died when i was 13 and i would hate to do that to my kids, and the whole idea of dying young really depresses the hell out of me, i know i may or may not get it. i'm 22 now and i just want to be able to live my life not being scared that it might hit me someday. please don't say anything to scare me, i do that enough to myself!

i was wondering why girls are so gullible?? all you have to do it pretend u are interested and show affection and pretend to listen to them, when they talk look at them directly in the eye and slip out a compliment once in a while like...wow girl...you have such eyes...lol and they fall for it every single time!!!! and the next thing u know your getting a lil some some and it wasnt that hard...you dont have to wait like 6 month in a relation ship hahaha....sigh...how do i get away with this stuff!!!!

I'm 27wks pregnant and curious as to what causes an unborn baby to be either deaf or blind? There is no history of either of these in mine or my partners family, and there is no need for me to even be thinking of this however i'm a bit neurotic this week and this is my latest "thing to worry about".

Any ideas?

I am 19 years old, 5'2" and 103lbs and I cannot seem to gain weight. I don't have an eating disorder and I have recently went to the doctor about it, had tests done to check for hyperthyroidism, etc. and all tests have come back negative. No health problem cause could be found. Everybody laughs at me and tells me to wait until after I pop out a couple kids. But I don't plan on having kids any time soon and I don't want to wait that long. I really want to gain weight.

Can females take those weight gain powders and/or protein bars and do those powders and bars really work? Would lifting weights(starting off with small, maybe 5 or 10 pound) weights help? I don't know who else to ask about this since nearly everybody I know seems to have the total opposite problem than I have in regards to weight.

Implantation?
well today is day 5 of missed period. took preg test last night and this morning still neg.had a heavy reg period on dec 13th and i had one spot of bleeding on jan 8th, and 13th,14th, and on the 15th afternoon and this today no bleeding at all. and when i bled the days i just mentiond it was only when i wiped. it was like clear with pick lines in the fluid.<- i know TMI sorry, just tryin to get to bottm of this. i have always had heavy period starting from day one. thats why this is all so wierd. i have 2 other kids and this has NOT happend to me b4. any suggestions from a nurse or dr, or any websites that u can talk to a dr about thesse q's? that would be great too.i never been on birth control, and im using no protection
