TERRIBLE logic. You say that Rivers is good because he outplayed a 3x SBChamp. Unfortunately for your argument, Brady WAS that SBChamp. He has led his team to 3 rings. Rivers couldnt even beat the washed-up Pats.

I concede that in this particular instance, Brady was less than stellar. Over the duration of his career, though, he is undeniably a top QB in the game, several tiers above Rivers. Especially when you look at what Brady has to work with- Caldwell? Gaffney? Rivers can only make completions by lobbing the ball in Gates's general direction, or screening it to LT and praying that the league MVP can dig his way out of the trouble Rivers put him in.

And for what it's worth, Pats will be done by this time next week. I hate them, and it's time that they lost.

Rivers is a good young quarterback but nowhere near in the same ballpark as Brady. You don't base it on one game or one season for that matter. Rivers in time may be great but he isn't there yet. Now LT of course has established himself as a great player and the Chargers need to show they can win the big one just like the Colts who get another chance at the Pat's. The Patriots have won 3 recent Super Bowls and the Chargers none so far. Good luck to them next season maybe they want choke again. You notice Brady always comes through in the clutch regardless of how he plays the rest of the game? He will be a Hall of Famer when he retires too.

Who's going to the AFC championship game, moron? Stats don't mean a damn thing. If they did, Peyton Manning would rule the world. The Chargers showed a true lack of class in losing that game. Maybe the Pats won't win the SB, but at least they're gonna get a chance. Something the Chargers can't say. There's a name for the Chargers-----LOSER!!! I'm not a Pat fan either, but you're just a complete idiot. What have the Chargers ever won since coming out of the old AFL? NOTHING!!!

What are you talking about, I think you mean to say that Rivers is better than Brady and Chargers rock. Wrong! Brady has only lost 1 playoff game ever it was Bradys' worst postseason start ever and San Diego couldn't beat him. Whats up with that! I mean he's better than Aikman in the postseason now. LT is good and all but Rivers is a punk and he's not that good a player either. Btw who is this Bardy Hahaha you speak of?, he sound like a good player.

Um.........yeah and Rivers was so much better.???~~~
I mean he had more sacks than Brady. and where was Merriman and his his Lights out dance. Yeah and so what if there was the 3 picks??? still beats Rivers. Come on yeah he's young and he still doesn't have much experience yet. too bad that Brady already has THREE superbowl rings when some QB's don't even have ONE. so yeah before you say any thing about hailing and praising Rivers and Tomlinson, think about where was Merriman and Tomlinson with his amazing touchdowns. Brady still won because he has the skills and the offense to win.

Rivers, is like Romo, in DALLAS. a talented, young quarterback. a Great quarterback, is more interested in leading His team to championships than setting personal records. He probably will do it someday but, as of now, He is not in the same class as Brady or, the other Great quarterbacks of the NFL.

The Steelers are the present tremendous Bowl champs, yet ignored the playoffs this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days because the Ravens gained their season finale with the Raiders, and carry the tiebreaker over the Steelers. Steelers are 9-7
