I let my son live with his Dad when he was 8 because he was starting fires and having a hard time adjusting to my divorce.I needed his help.His father made me agree to let him stay with him until he was 12.Thomas is now 13 and he wants to come back here for half the time.He is doing great and grew out of his experiment stage.His dad will not let him come back.I went to court and lost the case.My son even testified.The judge believed lies and my Lawyer was no help.The judge actually gave Tim (Thomas's dad) and his wife more authority over Thomas and I lost time with my son.I have 2 other children that are doing great.I work hard as a single mom to make sure of that.I was portrayed as irrisponsible,ignorent,and incapable of making proper choices for Thomas.Tims wife has taken over as Tom's mom and I am left out.They will absolutly not communicate at any level with me and I am so Mad.Tom hates her.He wants me to call the cops on her.He wants me to ask dad to stick up for himself and him.

As far as I can tell, the hard disk is ok (it still shows up in my RAID set), but Windows XP Pro won't boot, and gives me a system error ("windows\system32\config\system is missing or corrupt.")

Unfortunately I don't have the original OS disc, but i have a XP Media Edition CD, which came with a recent Dell system purchase. I attempted to repair my old comp from the CD, but the Windows Recovery console gave me a "cannot find hard disk" error. The console gives me the same error when I tried formatting a brand new hard disk with the CD, so I am thinking something is up with the Dell software. It's understandable that Dell would prohibit the software being used on any system but the one your bought from them.

So, would a new XP Pro CD work to repair the registry, even if it's not the original, or is there something else I'm missing?

I started getting cold sores since I was 12 years old. And now that I'm 21 I've had one every year since the first. From what I've read so far you can only get through an infected person, but during that time no one I ever knew had one. So, now I wonder why was I the one to get them and no one else around me did. I was young and I never did anything I wasn't supposed to, to possibly be infected. Now I believe that I passed this thing to my boyfriend and I just feel absolutely horrible about it.

It was basically the same questions that I would have answered in a face to face interview. Essay type questions. I answered all the questions and now I'm not sure what to do. With a face-to-face interview I would send a thank you letter and make a follow up call. Should I do the same in this case?
I have never even heard of a written interview until now. Does anyone else have experience with it?
