also how high should it be above the stove (12 inch?) thanks!! the plumber is here now!

It depends on your faucet. If you are able to reach all areas of the stove center would be ideal to fill a pot in any position on the stove.

It swings left and right, right? So put it in the center. As long as it can reach a pot on a burner. Put it 2 so that the spout is 2 inches higher than your tallest pot that you will be filling.

Pot filler? is that something you add to your weed to make it last? if so i would keep it away from the stove.

JUST DEPENDS ON IF YOUR RIGHT OR LEFT HANDED, I'D GO WITH THE SIDE THAT I'D USE THE MOST. WHAT DOES THE PLUMBER THINK.
