Hi im going through the same thing at the minute, what im doing is testing using an ovulation kit every month to see when my fertile days are, on the day it shows positive thats the best time to do it, we use a 10ml syringe, the guy obviously ejaculates into a small tub, if you leave it 15 mins to turn clear like water. then draw back on the syringe without anything in it then push the air out again, this creates a vaccum then slowly draw it back again with the semen in it then try to tap out any air bubbles. the further inside you the syringe is the better, you've got to get as close to the cervix as u can, slowly inject the sperm, if you do it too fast it can splash away from the cervix. you have to try to have an orgasm, its best to use a vibrator as this provides a more powerful orgasm but it doesnt have to be, use whatever is best for you, the orgasm helps the cervix suck up the sperm and can speed up sperm travel.

I use a couple of pillows under my hips to keep them raised and you should stay like this for about half an hour after the insemination.

If you do it on the right days (day of ovulation and the next day is best) then it shouldnt take too long, its roughly about 6 months i think to concieve your first child. i cant wait, i just hope it doesnt take too long, im so excited! have you started taking folic acid? its very important for the baby, you should start having it as soon as you are trying to concieve.

Anyway, hope this helps and good luck!
