In my job i drive every day and experienced a case of road rage directed at me today. I acted undeterred by it but in reality it shook me up. Why are some drivers so nasty? I don't get that way and i drive alot daily.

until recentley (Nov 8th 06) i worked for a large UK bank, after i had quit, i recieved one last paycheque, however i had been payed a minus amount, (-£600 roughly) they also took my holiday allowance and used it to pay back some of the 600, now i have recieved a latter dated the 10th of jan, asking for me to pay them the money back. my question is, do i legaly have to repay this money as i feel it is they who owe me money.

Please bear in mind that this is UK specific.

I am 23yrs old and I recently stopped taking b/c. It has been a month me and my boyfriend are having unprotected sex. My last period was on Dec. 14. I was suppose to start today. What is the correct way to write the 2 sentences below?

1st QUESTION:
After dialog, do you always have to say Michael said or said Michael or Michael implored, to indicate which character made the statement or can you leave it as I have below?

2nd QUESTION:
If you want to indicate a sound such as "BADoom…crack" in the middle of dialog, how do you write it? In quotes within the quote? In parenthesis, within the quote?

DIALOG:
“Listen to me. I will follow once you’re safe, (BADoom…crack) but I can’t do that if you don’t go NOW!” Seeing the look of stark terror in her eyes, Michael lowered his voice.
