i just got my first job at this breakfast/cafe as a dishwasher. ive only beem working there for a week now and dont have any official work hours. the manager told me when my first day of work was and also my second. i had my first day with no problems but the second day the manger wasnt there and it turned out he told me the wrong time si i was 1hour late. then today i get a call from someone who works there (not the manager) telling me i have a have today and was supposed to be in 30 minutes ago. im 4 hours away at my grandma because we went up there for christmas so theres no possible way i can get to work today.

what im trying to say is that ive only worked there for a week and have already been late once and missed a day of work. i have no official hours and only go in when the manager tells me (seems a dishwasher isnt his top priority). on top of this i am going to florida with my family in three days. so ive been late missed a day and now cant go in for a week.

Do any Moms have suggestions on how to find private babysitters during work hours? My mother keeps my son right now, but will be going on vacation the end of February and I need to find a reliable trustworthy person to keep my 3 year old while my husband and I are at work. My eight month old used to drink 7oz four times a day.
Lately its been extremly difficult to maker her drink 5-6 oz 3 times.
She even does not seem to eat more solids just 2 small jars ( gerber veggies and fruits ) a day and some baby cereal once in the morning.
Is she being underfed and what more food can I introduce at this stage.
