My brother will not have anything that even resembles gold on it, he saw a phone once that he actually wanted but wouldnt get it because the tiny gold bit on it in his mind was gay central.

I have never heard of that before unless your brother is thinking of wearing gold shoes or clothes then perhaps you could say that looked gay. But for god's sake what planet is he on gold jewellery has been around for centuries and wedding rings are usually gold. Perhaps he has something in the closet that needs to be revealed.

Well, let's see here...what's the most common color for wedding bands? Gold, isn't it? And, until such time as gay marriage is completely legal everywhere, it's pretty safe to assume that a man wearing gold on his left ring finger is probably straight.

Ummm... your brother is a tool.

Gold does not equal gay. If so, the vast majority of people in the United States would be gay, because they have some form of gold (ring, watch, necklace, etc.).

I think he's dumb...

I hope you are not using "gay" as to mean "pathetic"

or does he feel that since a lot of gay men wear gold jewelry, he is giving a subtle signal that he is also gay?

Good to hear of a chap who sticks to his guns instead of being bent by PC pressure. No idea if gold is gay but if in doubt, do not take any chances.

loads of straight people have gold stuff.
its a precious metal and expensive and anyone can have it if they can afford it.
gold is not gay.
neither is platinum or silver.

your brother needs to stop being so homeaphobic he is really very sad.
