It's ridiculous how everyone divides it into right and wrong, evil and good...
Yes what Hussein did was intolerable, killed hundreds of Kurds for reasons not really known to us. However, you must also admit that he controlled the violence and social tensions of Iraq in a way that others can't manage.
History shows that in that kind of society, by taking down one dictator (because that was what Hussein was) another usually rises.
There have been far worse individuals in the world who we haven't even dealt with such as the "president" of Pakistan, the ruler in North Korea, the violent mobs in Darfar etc...
Is hanging Hussein right? I couldn't say...
By watching him get killed, we're lowering ourselves to something far worse- because by watching it, a part of us will enjoy it...and that's disgusting.

There can nothing else be said than that Saddam Hussein deserves a most severe penalty. He committed crimes against humanity.
However I am strictly against death penalty. Murder committed by the state in the name of justice remains murder.
Furthermore the verdict only a few days before the elections in America shows to me that those judges were not really free from American influences. But even Saddam deserves a fair trial. Should he be hanged, he would be made a martyr. That would be bad for the political situation in Iraq.
Certainly an execution must not be shown on TV, and if it was, I wouldn't watch it.

its right that he is hanged if he is left to live out a sentence there will always be violence and other terrorism over it trying to get
him released, there may be hostage taking , more 911 like terror, this very bad man has caused enough grief and now it will end, I might watch as it would be a historical event and I might not as death is not and should not be a spectator sport.I used to feel differently but I am going thru introspection and have found that the only person that is hurt when I wish bad on somene else is myself. It puts a hole in my soul.

Yes, it is confirmed. And no, I didn't grow up that way to find it entertaining. I find death in any form disturbing. Even if I think what he did was totally wrong and of the Shaitan, I would not watch it.

Yes it was confirmed. The verdict is parallel with his actions, but again, I'm indifferent about his life. And nope, I won't watch that for two reasons:
-It's not fun to watch anyone die even if he was bad.
-It's soboring and long, and I'm busy !

Given the present months activities and the "inner" Iraqi attitude/conflict among they selves, I say; that before you positioned any execution date; Saddam could be enable "unfastened" upon those cowards whom are killing each and every others women human beings, the previous, the harmless, and their infants. human beings like those purely understand one factor; and that's Saddam. All this romanticism approximately given them their "freedom" on the fee of the lives of our youthful men and females human beings interior the provider and ; !!!which "freedom" they have used to "kill and ambush" US and coalition forces must be carried out away with. Edit: I edited the 0.33 line from the backside, so each and every of the bleeding hearts right here supplies you me some greater, or ; each and every of the "thumbs down" they could like. certainty all hurts ; does not it?
