EBay I bought plenty from them with no problems. Join a coin forum and they usually have list of good honest dealers.
Heritage auctions is also a good placed but a bit overpriced.

It is not easy to find coins for a collection. A collector collects coins by buying them. The most popular way is purchase coins in auction sales. There are some rare coins which are difficult to find. It is better to find a good coin auctions. On the internet we can see many web sites such as http://www.icollector.com/Coin-Auctions_aca11116

None, unless you know your coins. I have bought quite a few on Yahoo auctions. Not so much stuff that it is over powering and so far real fast service from the sellers. So far this month it has been 15 buys with no problems. To many fakes on eBay and to much stuff, takes forever to see it all.

I found many coin collectors listed in PublicAuctionFinder. There are many local and nationwide collectors. I think it is a good site, because many coin collectors post their rare coins for auction there. Whether you have your own auction site or just a collector you may post there and for sure you will find your potential bidder/buyer.
