I found out two days ago that I was pregnant. Today, I have started having cramps and light bleeding. I thought that implantation took place 6-12 days after ovulation. The first day of my last period was Oct. 18. I am past the time of implantation. What's happening?

I've heard social workers use this term many times. It seemed so strange I thought it would never touch my life so I never bothered to find out what it was. Now I've been very ill and in and out of Doc's offices/hospitals for 11 months now. I've brought no money into the home. My husband works 100+ hrs per week, always did even when I had a job. His 20 something son works full-time and the 18 yr old part-time. We all live in a small apt. When rent/utilities are due totally $850 monthly (or $280 each they all struggle to pay). It's thrown in my face that I'm not "contributing". I'm given about $3-5 per day to eat, get gas to take sons to work, etc. I'm never allowed to see any paycheck stubs or bank accounts. If this isn't financial abuse I don't know what is OR is it? Does anyone know for sure?

I have just bought an Alexandrine Parrot. She is lovely. She is 8 weeks old and had been hand reared. I am after some advise on what I should feed her to keep her healthy. Also can anyone tell me how to train her. I work all day and at night time I will be spending time with her. I woudl like to get her used to me and my partner and for her to be able play happily be herself when we are not home. I have set up the spare bedroom in my house for her. I have put a large rope around the room and have conected it to her cage. She seems to like it. She isnt doing much at the moment. She has only been home for a day, I am sure she will get more comfortable over time. I am worried I am not giving her enough toys to play with. I am going shopping today to get some wooden toys, I know I need to get edible ones because they love to chew. What else should I get her. I gave her some apricot last night and she loved it, what else shoudl I give her apart from the seed mix?

I am amazed at the number of religious people who think they are right and everyone else is wrong, especially considering all they have to go on are the fairy tales they have been told since childhood and "faith". If the Christian religion is so rightious why are they responsible for more war than any other religion since Jesus died. Why are the teachings of Christ so unheeded. I'm 34 weeks and have gained about 27 pounds! To me this feels like alot. It's 100% in my belly, and I was pretty thin to begin with (not underweight, but on all the weight charts I was right at that line). I feel so self-conscious about it....people ask how much I've gained and some seem astounded like it's a huge number. I eat right, exercise, and pretty much let my body be my guide as far as hunger goes. Do I seem on track or is this something I should be concerned about? My drs. are among the very picky ones when it comes to weight...when I drop a pound they get upset and when I go up more than I should for those weeks I have to hear it too, which does nothing to make me feel any better! I feel bad...the most important thing here is a healthy baby, but I also want to feel good about how I look and feel.

My boyfriend of nine years finally decided to propose to me. They only reason we are not married yet, because we've been on and off for so long, but now it's official. He propose to me without the ring... Of course I said yes. Tomorrow I am supposed to meet him to receive my engagement ring.

I don't know if I'm nervous or not, but my mind changes like every day. I don't know if I want to marry him. I'm not sure if it's because we are still going through our problems, but I don't want to make the wrong decision. At the same time I don't want to lose him. I guess all I really need is some reassurance that everything will be fine. Should I put it off until those "confuse" feelings disappear, or is it normal to feel this way?

Illegals have camped in McGonigle Canyon for literally decades to the anger of nearby residents who did not want transient camps with (reportedly) unsavory practices near their homes and children. When the Minutemen, Save our State and others planned a protest at McGonigle Canyon, the property owners apparently called on the police to evict the illegals and hired security guards to keep them out. However, this was only a day before the protest were planned, and apparently a couple hundred anti illegals showed up in any event.

This article isn't written in a manner friendly to the anti's, however, here we are, WITHOUT hundreds of illegals camping in McGonigle canyon.

I don't think it should be easy to be here illegally, personally. I also understand the Minutemen took vast amounts of trash and waste out of the canyon when they wen't on a clean up tour.

What do you think?

for example if u look at a pen under a magnifying glass then the measurement u see under the mag. glass will be smaller than the actual measurement. And is it a "large" difference or a "small" difference? For example a pen's actual measurement is 15cm...so what approx. would the measurement under the mag. glass be?
