Christians are like this. I left the religion because of it, plus, the fact that I do not believe Jesus is G-d. G-d is One. Judaism fits me just fine.

Understanding someone's right and respecting it are things that was never given a serious attention by many if not by all. Religions or no Religion these are common human mistake. They fight for the reason they both do not give each other a chance to live harmoniously. Religon claim they are right based on faith that has no proof of the unseen. Non-religious claim they are right based on theories on the facts that was found but remains to be uncertain. Both of which need certainty in the end.

Well, I am personally a Christian, and believe the Bible with my whole heart. Given, I agree with you that many Christians give no heed to the Bible. That is the trouble with "religion." People can say they believe something, and do the complete opposite.
I think the main reason that Jesus' teachings are unheeded is this religious, dead "faith" that some people profess. True Christianity is when you die to yourself and follow the Father's Law, and have a personal relationship with Jesus.
Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved. Some people don't believe, and, therefore, are dead.

Because my friend.....you are assuming they are christians. Christians don't believe in war....antichristians do. these people are usually from churches where the smell of money, power and bad perfume permeate the air....and where the deceiver roams. Give a dog a bone and he will posses his bone and turn on others to keep it. Give a religious person some power and money and they will do so likewise. You probably always believed that these religious people were rewarded with success and material possesions as a reward for being faithful.....but o'contrare.....they are receiving these things from the great deciever himself...for the deciever knows what happens when you give these people a bone.

The Pope says that faith and reason go hand in hand. I believe this to be true. I was an atheist (25 years) , now a Catholic. I was "turned" intellectually by the book 'A Case for Christ' and 'A Case for Faith'. Both were written by a Christian named Lee Strobel.
These books show the underpinnings of reason and fact in Christianity.

Why do so many non religious people claim they are right with only faith to go on?
You are young and angry - just the very things that warmongers exploit to get others to fight.
If you have any hard evidence that God doesn't exist, present your facts.
Why are the teachings of Christ so unheeded? Because people, including many "Christians", would prefer to do what they want to do rather than what Christ taught so they adapt their religion around what they want to do, converting it in to a convenience religion.

No religion is right, the righteousness lies in the people them selves. All those who are religious are not are going to be right in there own right. Look at most of the founding fathers of this country, most were not religious, but were right in their ideology of the time. Those who are deemed right by history will be judged by those who write the history, and even their beliefs will be change by those that write history. I guaranteeing that most people do not know that Benjamen Franklin, Thomas Jefferson and even George Washington were not Christian, but the way people see them is dictated by history and not fact. Just like many other things that people think are historical in origin and are really based off of biased fact.

Wow, thats heavy resentment you carry there. I hope you are free of it sometime soon. Going around with hate only hurts you.
I believe because I have seen miracles. I was in jail needed a miracle, an athiest. So I called mr miracle and put "jesus" to the test. Only problem was he passed....I am free from jail and addiction, no record, nothing. My lawyer could not explain. Lawyers get paid to give long winded answers, and all he said was "I dont know how THAT happened!"
SO I dont have just "faith" to go on, do I??
Thanks for sharing your heart, I pity you.

It's not faith that kills people. It's the human misinterpretation of their faith. If people followed the true teachings of Christ -peace be with him-- then they really would be a very peaceful and tolerant people- and I have met many christians who are!!! Even extremist groups are a derangment of the original faith- twisted around and distorted. To the religious people who believe that God exsists there is proof just in breathing air and in being alive. The scriptures are not fairy tales to us, but a way to live our lives to be closer to God.
