Thank you for asking a delicate question so respectfully. I appreciate that.
As Esther referred to, your question is not a new one. A couple of thousand years ago -- well, almost -- the new Christians were asking the same thing. That's why Paul answered them as he did, and rather strongly, too: "should we go on sinning?" "BY NO MEANS!!" That said, Paul also said that if we are saved by keeping the Law, Christ died for nothing.
I think your answer lies in love. We obey God's commands because we love Him, not because we're trying to earn His favor or because we're afraid of what will happen if we don't. He already loves us as much as only God possibly can. To show our love and gratitude to Him, we obey His commands. Jesus said we are His friends if we obey His commands. I like being Jesus' friend very much. I will not lose my salvation if I disobey, but I also know I won't please Him. Grace is a wonderful freedom and a great responsibility at the same time. I must be responsible to use my freedom as God would have me do.
Feel free to email me (by clicking on the name under my avatar) for more details. I will try to be respectful, too. We learn a whale of a lot more about each other's faiths when we are, after all.

Good question? Yes Jesus died for all mankind's sins so everyone could inherit God's kingdom, but we have to live a life of good deeds too. The Bible says to accept Jesus means believing everything he says in the Bible and living the life he tells you to.
It says we are fooling ourselves if we think we can just accept Jesus and live a bad life. Our deeds will be tried by fire and some people's deeds will be burned up and they won't get many rewards in Heaven for our deeds. All good deeds will be rewarded even something as simple as smiling at someone or saying kind words.

Many people take the forgiveness thing out of perspective. He said to go and sin no more, meaning to receive forgiveness, we have to quit doing that sin. A lot of christians don't think you have to do good deeds in order to get to heaven, but there are some of us who believe if we're forgiven, then it will be impossible not to do good deeds. We are to love each other, and love our enemies, and loving means helping, not looking the other way when someone needs help. Doesn't matter who needs help, we're to help them. He judges us by our hearts, He knows if we've given willingly, or not at all, and to presume that good deeds in this world don't count is stupid. Good deeds is more than giving "things", its giving of ourselves.

Well, when we get saved(John 3:16), the Holy Spirit comes into our hearts. This encourages us to do good deeds because of love for Jesus Christ and the people on the earth. Now,for Christians,we will be rewarded when we get to heaven, according to our GOOD deeds.
Wonderful question.
But,because there are so many branches of Christianity,my question might not be correct to some, but oh well whatever floats your boat........

Jesus died as a sacrifice for all peoples sin.The bible says for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.It also says For God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son not to condemn but to save.We believe in mercy and grace, but to live with conviction. We live our lives before God,but also believe we have the Holy Spirit to give us strength to overcome the things that God wants to change in us.We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.Its liberating,I have found freedom, because of my faith.Be loved and blessed

No, hon, that doesn't mean that at all. When one accepts Jesus as Lord and Savior into their lives, they may still sin but they are not happy nor do they use it as an excuse to sin. When one is saved they are re=born of the Spirit of God, and are Christ minded.

Yes Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sins. But that does not give us carte blanche to sin all we want. In Christianity, a person who truly accepts Jesus as Lord, and repents of their sin, becomes "born again". A born again believer in Jesus loves Him, and desires to live the life that Jesus outlines for us in the bible. Paul wrote, because of God's grace, does that mean we should sin more that His grace would abound more? Heaven forbid! A person who truly loves God will want to live in His ways. Does that mean we always succeed? No.
No one enters heaven based on what they do. It is by faith in Christ alone. Ephesians says "for it is by grace you are saved, through faith, not by works, that any man should boast".
Hope that helps somewhat.

Christianity, twisted and perverted religion that it is, dictates that we are judged "not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace" (2 Timothy 1:9). So it doesn't matter how you live, it's up to God.

there's a good point in your question.
if jesus died for our sins, then we should be able to sin since he abolished sin. so, as soon as we sin, it's taken away. wht's the pontof him abolishing ur sins if we dont sin to beginw ith? doesnt that mean he died for nothing>?
