Illegals have camped in McGonigle Canyon for literally decades to the anger of nearby residents who did not want transient camps with (reportedly) unsavory practices near their homes and children. When the Minutemen, Save our State and others planned a protest at McGonigle Canyon, the property owners apparently called on the police to evict the illegals and hired security guards to keep them out. However, this was only a day before the protest were planned, and apparently a couple hundred anti illegals showed up in any event.

This article isn't written in a manner friendly to the anti's, however, here we are, WITHOUT hundreds of illegals camping in McGonigle canyon.

I don't think it should be easy to be here illegally, personally. I also understand the Minutemen took vast amounts of trash and waste out of the canyon when they wen't on a clean up tour.

What do you think?

God Bless them for cleaning up America.

God Bless them for their diligence in keeping this issue in the forefront and for their struggles to define our border!

I am proud to be a member....with my husband who is their (pro bono...of course) attorney in our state!

They get our time, our support and our dollars for the cause of preserving America!

Hey Dar, it sounds like you live in SoCal too. I am in San Diego county. I could not believe when I saw the original special report on this canyon with the undercover guy in there. I am glad that the minutemen have stood their ground on the issue of illegal immigration and continue to peacefully bring attention to the problem. One of these days the rest of the country will realize the good they are doing. I am ashamed of the companies that own that land. Pardee and DR Horton. I am quite familiar with them, and not happy that they have not protected the home owners around their land from having to live among this filth and criminal element. Thanks for putting this out there.

The entire United States owes a debt of gratitude to ANYONE who does ANYTHING about the invasion from Mexico. Only bleeding heart liberals, like the moronic ACLU, think otherwise, but then they're totally out of touch with reality.

It disgusts me the way the Minute Men have been treated. They simply want to show how bad the problem is.

WILL SOME POLITICIANS DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
