when you go to a resturant and have advocado they are always soft but when i buy them they are always hard even when they feel soft on the outside, can you cook them to make them soft. how do you get the skin to come off of red green and yellow peppers ?

Why do many think that Catholicism is Christian when it clearly does not follow the Bible? Galatians 1 says, "Cursed is anyone who preaches a different gospel, or way to heaven, than the one that is found within the Bible." Quite frankly, I believe that the "Church" has done more to hurt Chrisitanity than anything else, causing confusion amongst those who know nothing about Christianity, thinking that the "Crusaders" and Hitler were Christians, when they didn't even know how to be Christians. Mary, Saints, confession, priests, Popes, Latin services . . . none of this stuff is in the Bible! The Bible says, "The Spirit says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons . . . forbidding to marry and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth." 1 Timothy 4:1,3

I have a clean driving record, i am 16 years old and i have insurance. I was speeding a little bit near my school and I was going 35-40 mph in a 25 mph zone. The cop pulled me over and wrote me a ticket saying i was going 45 mph WITH NO RADAR PROOF! Can i fight it?

I will culture bacteria on a petri dish using agar gel. I will be viewing bacteria under a microscope and taking a digital picture to determine the amount of growth by looking at the area. The bacteria will likely grow in a not so uniform shape. Are there any programs or techniques out there that could easily determine the area of bacteria that grows? I will use this as comparison for a project.

I don't mind Kylie Minogue and Jessica Simpson, but they don't call themselves great artists. They are just pop entertainers on the radio. I do like pop music but prefer something like the Beatles, the Smiths, the Cranberries, the Coors and Sean Cohn.

Homosexuality is considered genarally admissible (al teast by the liberal western world)

Incest (I am talking about one between two consenting adults who are related) is considered illegal.

Please don't read this as anything to do with my personal life. I am a straight man who is skeptical whether either of them are genetic traits.

I find homosexuality acceptable, but consider incest as disgusting.

Is there really any difference? Of course, having inbred children is not good for the society, but taking that fact out, are the two very different? Should we treat them completely differently and have completely different laws?

It isn't all our personal feeling and opinons (of disgust and acceptance of a certain practice) just influenced by society, specifically by certain individuals who can create that influence?

I am sure this is going to touch a lot of nerves!

im trying to get over a break-up. but its my little girl just when i think were making headway and getting on she breaks down. we have gone through so much in the last 6 month and she so grown up for her age and we are so close. its killing me because i havent got the answers for her. my ex is dangling us both on a string which im trying to break off and thought i was but she completly and utterly broke down in my arms tonight and said she wants the family back together she was destroyed. it kilt me. the main reason i havent got the answers for her is even though me and him were best friends for 5 yrs then engaged for nearly 2 he aint her biological dad, yet he keeps telling me he wants to be there for her and be friends so he can see us both. he has three other kids from when we were friends. so i used to take 4 of them on every wkend when we were together. how do i break my little girl off ive tried so hard and dont know what to do anymore ?.x

I been reading a lot lately about finding your true self. How do I know what is really my true self or just a reaction to either a current person's feeling or something someone said years ago. For example, if someone at one point said, "You're funny" how do I know that being funny now is part of the real me or just a reaction to what that person said so many years ago?

He was talking to his friend that he was feeling so much pressure for getting married, and he doesn't want to do it. Even I have asked him so many times, he doesn't tell me what's on his mind. he acts like everything is good to go. He was the one started talking about getting married while he was in Iraq, and also we have been in the long distance relationship for more than 2 years. We both know that getting married is the only way to be together. I need to know what's on his mind. How can I know his mind? If he doesn't want to get married, I want him to tell me that. about 3 yrs ago i was on the pill and this made them regular, after i stopped taking the pill i got pregnant pretty much straight away, but lost the baby at 8 weeks.
We have been trying now for close to 2 yrs and nothing is happening, it doesnt help that he works away for 2 weeks a mth, however is my period cycle going to make it harder to get pregnant and when is the best time to try when i dont know when im getting my next period? thanks in advance!
