Okay...hope I understand this correctly.

Michigan just had proposal 2...to get rid of affirmative action...I believe it passed.

Ironically it was two U of Michigan cases that were just heard by the SC in 2003. A split decision...upholding for undergrad(and not for the law school)..I think..lol...on the basis that "diversity" in important to universities.

Now this proposal 2...again how can they pass a state law when it was just upheld by the SC...again...wouldn't that trump their state law b/c of the supremacy clause.

One other that I can think of is the marjuana laws in California....they've(Ca) passed laws that are clearly against federal laws....so how does that work?

Im 24 weeks pregnant and i wake up sometimes every hour during the night to pee. It's not as often during the day. Im wondering if anyone else had this issue while pregnant.

Is it easier for a woman to get a date from a man, than it is for a man to get a date from a woman?

I don't think the odds are the same. I speculate that if a woman asked ten random individual male strangers for a date, she would get more yes answers, than if a man asked ten random individual female strangers for a date. Again, this is just speculation, but it seems most likely.

The Lower East Side in one of the most historic BUT most happenin' neighborhoods in New York City. There aren't a lot of cool hotels in the area cos a lot of locals hang out there.... but the area's developing and hotels are starting to rise.

I have a 14 year old dog and he was just diagnosed with cancer in one of his legs. He has been my only companion for such time and I cant face the fact that he is going to let me.. Treatment is extremely expensive and I want to know if there is an association, organization or institution in Boston or the East Coast that can support me and give some kind of financial help in order to give him the treatment he needs.

I am a returning Iraq Vet that has PLENTY of experience on working on Army Aircraft... sheetmetal was my game for 6 years... I live in Sacramento CA and my search for employment doing what I love is discouraging.. I got out of the service to be with my family... but I still want to do what I do best.. Sheetmetal/Airframe. I work for a non-profit organization that has a soup & chili supper fund-raiser every year. We have a chili recipe we have used for years. The recipe calls for one bunch of celery per roaster. Usually we cut the bunches of celery the morning of the breakfast. This year we are recieving a donation of (2) 10# cans of cut celery. I am trying to figure out what the equivalent would be of that to bunches of celery. Or is there an amount in cups (etc.) per bunch that I can use? Any help would be great.

Alrite, so I am a 19 year old male, 2nd year of uni. Grades are now in the 70's was a 90's student.

Anywho, I started dating my friend of 12 years. I am of indian decent so keep it in mind when you think this is totally weak. She is asian.

We were fooling around, I was getting a handjob and my mom wallked in. Ofcourse she flipped..... She started saying how she would tell my gf's parents. Her parents prolly know we are going out but no one has said anything to each other about it. She isn't allowed to date either. BTW, she is 19 also.

Now i told them I would do anything from them telling her rentz, mainly cuz it isn't their business. But they still have a indian thing on me that I am indian and i am under their control etc etc.

I have no clue twhat to do

Any suggestions?
