Regular ballpoint pen ink can be removed with hairspray. Spray and blot until it comes out. I've used this method on my husband's dress shirt when he left a pen uncapped in his front pocket.

I had a white cotton formal that got blue ink on it - I washed, bleached & dried it many times over 4 years then heard a tip about using hair spray. I sprayed it with hair spray and the stain came right out!
It's the alcohol in hair spray that will break up the ink. You may have to repeat a couple of times. I was really surprised that it worked since it had been washed and dried so many times. I thought for certain it was permanently set!
I even used that tip to get ink off a doll's face, too...
Good luck!

I use Fairy household soap for all my stain removing....i buy this at Wilkinsons......possibly other stores also. This is a green bar of soap and you run it under the cold tap and wet the area affected..keep a little cup of cold water beside so that you can dip if it gets dry...once there is a lather of soap on the fabric rub the fabric together...if you have long ish nails scratch over the stain....this should work i manage to get the majority of stains out with this...however if you have already washed this it may be more difficult to get out....

try hairspray, the cheaper the brand the better it works. I promise, i have a 4yr old and a 3 yr old who like to drawn on just about anything. just spray and blot until it comes out. One thing to know it will work after you have laundered it, although, I am not sure if it will work after being bleached, but it wouldn't hurt to try. From now on first use the hairspray and then launder.

Milk. Soak the stain in milk overnight..though I think the success of this depends on the age of the stain

I don't know how to remove it, but I know how to disguise it; dip the offending article in a bucket of ink.
