The Lower East Side in one of the most historic BUT most happenin' neighborhoods in New York City. There aren't a lot of cool hotels in the area cos a lot of locals hang out there.... but the area's developing and hotels are starting to rise.

" Funky bars, boutiques and late-night eateries have made this neighborhood a hip destination." - from WHERENY magazine.

So.... if you were given the chance to stay in this hip place, what kind of hotel do you want to stay in (what amenities do you want to receive, for example) and why?

Please include your age and location when responding to this query. Thank you very much!

A cheap hotel, I would stay in the Marriott-Brooklyn Bridge and use the subway to go over to the LES.

LES should have a decent hotel with full wi-fi access and discount to local eateries.

as long as you're close to the subway you would be advantageous transportation sensible. The provider is 24/7 and transfers interior the subway are unfastened. Buses in some cases to boot. many of the areas around there is probably no longer the main secure, although.
