mmmhh....so it's mostly a "no", well, I get where you're all coming from...
don't think it would increase America's interest in soccer tho.

It's like the other day...when I saw Djorkaeff playing for the NY Red Bulls...I think he should have just stayed in France play for a domestic league there...

I think no!!! My reason being Beckham is more for ratings than his technique...Madrid never reallyu needed Beck's skills...they wanted his fame....He sells tickets, not to imagine jerseys & tv rights...in his 1st year at madrid, Real overpassed Manchester as the world's richest club...and guess what MLS might just use that to attract the world's attention & with a good management team they could just be competing with Europe's elite leagues

No, it would not be stupid. Do you remember the crowds he drew when Real came to the U.S. for a few exhibition games, people screamed every time he touched the ball.
He would go from a benched- La -Liga -player to a L.A. Galaxy full time starter, with beautiful weather all year round and he already has a Football school in Los Angeles.

Um..no. He'd get plenty of money from the Galaxy plus women in this country love him but most men dont know who he is. He is done as far as his career, so why not wind it down with the mediocre players in the MLS. He cant cut it in UEFA anymore.

I think Beckam is way past his prime, so finishing off in America to increase interest in soccer would be really good.

I think it would be great for American soccer, not just because of Beckham, but because it will open the door for more renowned European & South American players!

I think it would make some noise, but not enough to get Americans to actually care about Soccer.
