There are hundreds, maybe thousands of religions in the world. All have their holy book or stories which "prove" the divine truth of that religion. Most claim to be the one and only truth, yet most are mutually incompatible with one another. None give any real evidence for their stories of miracles or supernatural occurences. Out of the mass array of religions, what makes YOURS the correct one? And if you would have been born somewhere other than where you were born, do you think you would have converted to be the same faith you are now? For example, you're a Christian from Texas. If you would have been born in Afghanistan, for example, do you really believe that you would not have been just as ardent a Muslim, and that you would have still found the "truth" in Christianity? Not one believer has been able to give me a good answer to this one thus far.

I just got a 6 mo shih tzu, and i'm having a horrible time house training it.

I am attempting to litter box train since I live in an apartment I don't have access to a nearby outside area. However, the dog will not go to the bathroom in the litter box. I've tried everything.

Yesterday, after he spent 7 hours in his kennel I put him in the box to go to the bathroom. I sat with him for 3 and a half hours waiting for him to go. The entire time I could tell he was struggling to hold it. Finally I put him back in his kennel so I could take a break...and he went to the bathroom in his kennel! I thought dogs don't like to go to the bathroom where they sleep =/

Today, I sat with the dog for another 4 hours..watching him struggle to hold it. Finally he sprinted past me and ran to the door. Once at the door he went to the bathroom.
I know his old owner trained him to go outside..but there is no way I can take him the 15 min walk to the park everytime he needs to go!
Advice please!

I love this guy very much and we’ve been seeing each other for 4years. We both are 24-year-old. We had everything in common and we also have big differences. But he hates commitments (he actually said that). During 4 years, our relationship was on and off. Whenever I contacted him, there was no respond at all. But last month, he text me out of nowhere, and email me too. I still love him but I got scare to go back to him after all the things he did to me. I always end up crying alone. What would you suggest? Should I go back to him or not?

An employee made a rude comment to me, and I told the manager what she said. What would you have done? Do you think telling the manager what she said, made me appear weak? I'm not there to be her friend, but I feel like I ratted her out?

My husband and I have dental insurance, but they still want the rest of the money upfront and we are totally broke. No dentist that I have called is willing to work with me on a payment plan. They all tell me to apply for a Care Card (Medical credit card). We can't get a credit card...tried. We recently lost a baby girl and had to pay for a funeral and I don't know what else to do. Dentists always say how important it is to get in, but they aren't willing to work with people that can't afford to pay. To interested in their house payments and sports cars to care about anyone else.

With the upcoming holidays and family members moving out of state, each year it is becoming more difficult to "get together" for the holidays. It has been customary to gather at the family home for many years. Now the children and grandchildren are grown and have families of their own and some have moved far away. I know it's an old habit that's hard to break and we're a close family and enjoy getting together. When is it time for each family to begin their own traditions? What have you tried and what works for your family?
