And Napoleon didn't put people in that situation 200 years ago?

Honestly, the USA has been blessed by geography. We have easily defended boarders and good neighbors who won't launch an attack on us; again anyway.

If America was the size of France and located in the same place, we would be screwed and invaded every few years. Thank you for being such an idiot to think that France is pitiful. Face facts, America has loads more material resources and population to fight a war with.

The only people France ever defended was Germany in 1949 and they could defend themselves in a wet paper bag now!

Speak French and eat quieche?

The question isn't if it would be embarassing, but if it would ever happen. And I am thinking that the French couldn't even begin to think about trying such a thing. . .
