Some one told me that schools in Texas were shut down on September 11th, and I have a friend who lives in Toronto, Canada and her school closed early. But my school here in North Carolina stayed open. All they did was tell us over the intercom.

So did most schools in North America close down (other than my high school in Raleigh)?

Favorite: TEXAS (where I'd rather live), Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee, Alabama (outside of Birmingham,) North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Wyoming, Washington. Friendly people, great scenery, lots to do, each state has its own history and culture.

Okay: Virginia, Michigan, Indiana, Utah, Arkansas, Pennsylvania, Oregon, Kentucky (where I now live), Colorado (don't like the place but it's SO pretty.) The attractions, cities, people are all just mediocre (Ok, so Philly and Pittsburgh are great cities, and Colorado is gorgeous, but other than that...)

Least favorite: Ohio, New Jersey, California, Delaware, Florida, Nebraska, Nevada. Why would anybody live in these places? Really? (No offense to anybody who lives in any of these listed states, I'm sure there are a few good qualities to them.)

I need to put together a silent monologue that consists of just one person (me) doing something that the audience can identify clearly for 1 minute. I can't use any words (can use limited props/ can use chairs/tables/ costumes), just body movements & facial expressions are required. I've been wearing make-up for almost a year, i'm 13 and i want a new "way" or style to do my make-up. My 50 year old husband was tazed yesterday. He came upon my daughter's car which he believed had broken down. He approached the police officer who was with the vehicle. They got into a discussion about the vehicle. The officer determined that he no longer wanted to continue the discussion. He told my husband to get back in his vehicle, my husband asked another question, he was told to get in his vehicle or he would be arrested, my husband responded "you have not heard the end of this" and crossed the street to enter his vehicle. As he reached for the door handle he was tazed in the back.
Do you feel this tazing was police brutality or was the officer somehow justified. If he was justified please explain how?
Also, in the state of NH or any other for that matter can a male officer lay hands on a female prisoner to do a pat down or whatever without a female officer present? If yes, does anyone else have to be present?

Recently, he's just started joking in the most weirdest way!

We were talking about me being married in the far future - i havent actually got anyone to marry atm lol!
And then suddenly my friend comes out with the joke that i'd be marrying him! o.O
Usually if anything of this sort ever came up, he would be in a fit of laughter, but today, he brought this subject up himself!
I mean, according to what he has ever said to me, he'd never be with a girl like me, but now he's acting like that....

Also, i have other male friends and i was talking about them to him, and he said that he didnt want to talk about them because he was getting jealous LOL!

He was saying all this in a very joky casual way but im starting to think there must be a reason for this sudden change in the way he talks to me

Is this some kind of weird twisted joke or is he trying to convey something to me? I do have a smidgen of feelings for him - got to admit!

You can be democrate or Republican and i have no problem if you like bush or hate him. I like him but to many people hate someone just because there repblican or democrate. It should be based on what they stand for, not what side there on.

This isnt the red states or the blue states its the United States of America but sometimes people dont act like it.

Any thoughs?

I can't imagine life without my cats. They are a part of my family. Everyone wants their family in heaven with them. I hope my kitties will get to go too. I would be very sad to think they could not be with me.
