Some people say it gives you the runs but then some people say it can actually put weight on you

yes, it is sometimes used for people to put on weight. People who have medical conditions and are vitamin depleted.

Ensure is a supplement used for individuals who have difficulty eating regular food or need extra nutrition. Yes it will make you gain weight!

Anything can make you "put on weight", if you are not burning enough calories to overcome the calories that you are taking in.

For an inactive Senior, who needs to put on weight, you can give it to them..(though its VERY sweet, and they may not like it, so, you may want to "thin it out" with some regular milk).

yes it does. even "Boost" does also. it's purpose is to give you a square meal when you actually don't have the time to sit and enjoy one. and no i don 't think it gives you the runs. i guess maybe if thats your intake for the whole day.which i dont recommend. and be sure to drink it cold, its better!

It can, but you need to watch your lipid profile because it has cream in it.
