Oh man.Thank God someone else thinks this way.Everyone is on the hate Bush bandwagon thus hating his party as well.People say he's lied to us so many times.Where the hell have these people been?Presidents have been lying since the begining.I'll choose one for example."Read my lips,no new taxes".I did not have sexual relations with miss Lewinski."The NAFTA will make this nation stronger. All lies.I believe in a leader based on the qualityof the job that they do.I don't blame everyone in their party or favor anyone because of their party. So why don't we make it the United States again and stop all of this idealistic in fighting?

I see what you mean. That depends, actually. If you decide to choose the president, regardless of the party, you place the human features of that person above party fidelity. If you go for the party, regardless of the person, you place the party ideology above the person.
I don't think either side is wrong because both things are important. Of course some balance would be ideal.
Now, you have to understand that people who have liberal views, such as marriage rights between homosexuals, tend to be very reluctant to vote on any one on the Republican party because, although they're not all religious zealots, there are quite a few of them there.
Take care!

How are you going to stop it? Some people always vote party lines and that's their choice. Personally I vote for the individual candidate. I think that people who vote a certain way only to be loyal to the party are not putting any thought into the process, they're just going through the motion. It's really hurt politics in the last few years because there's been the mentality of if you don't vote a certain way you're aiding terrorists. That's trying to get people to vote through fear and that's dead wrong.

Yopur Exactly right. These so called Dems and Reps Care Far more for there Dam Political party than they do for America Anymore. It's Not about What's Best for America it's what's best for there Political party. Why else are we even having a debate about Illegals in this country. BOTH Parties are courting the ILLEGAL vote. Rather than doing what 70 to 80% of AMERICANS want. It's Party BS. America needs A Third party that actually CARES about America.

Generally republicans are trying to attract the votes of interest groups that are more conservative and the opposite for the democrats...so they are liking or disliking them for what they supposedly stand for. A republican could agree with abortion and gay marriage all he wants behind closed doors...but that has nothing to do with the election they are trying to win. Sad...but truw.
As for our president, I am rather confused which interest group he trying to attract. (other than his own) He just terrifies the poor red states and cuts the money from the blue states...perhaps to terrify us as well...(i'm scared...I won't lie, lol.)
The funniest political email I ever read said that global warming was a strategy by the republicans to eraticate the blue states...heeheehee!

Hate is the American Nirvana.
We should put all of the Midwest in Gitmo. Burn the Great Plains and move all farming off shore.
Anyone that uses the Internet is an enemy of the State and should be put in Gitmo.
Al Gore should be tortured for inventing the Internet.
Go big Red Go

Of course it should be stopped. We need to concentrate on issues. Republicans need to stop blindly following Bush and Democrats need to stop trying to make every issue anti-Bush because of his low ratings.
One thing we should all unite on is the law of the land. We should vote out all incumbents that are weak on the immigration issue and refuse to enforce that laws of this land.

Life would be easier if we were all libertarion. But yes you have a big point! I remember seeing 20/20 once and it talked about polarization, and all that does is separate the country more.
