Cottage cheese is coming into its own with consumer demand for healthy foods. Cottage cheese provides high quality protein and is also a good source of riboflavin and calcium. Most of the major brands are bringing out low fat versions and their ranges are expanding.

Cottage cheese is a good food to eat in relatively small quantities. It's recommended by quite a few fitness instructors because it contains large amounts of protein. However, don't overdo it on cottage cheese because all cheeses can contain a lot of fat.

Collage cheese is healthy I think. You can get it lowfat or low carb and it's dairy. Dairy is a definite plus when you diet because of the calcium.
Another person said it was high carb, but it's really not. Like 2 grams per serving.
