Clarke has always been his own man - he dislikes Tony Blair and evidently likes Gordon Brown even less.
I always thought Charles Clarke was an utter pr@t but at least he can spot a w@nker when he sees one

Charles Clark is after the labour leadership position obviously. There are doubts about Tony Blair in the party and the comments he makes about Brown are about a lack of people skills in the party and his inability to work together-wonder if he will make his leadership policies very collaboration based. I think he is trying to set himself up and discredit Brown as Brown beforehand looked the most likely candidite to succeeed Tony Blair.

this seems to be a subject that puzzles everyone so i shall try to put forward my opinion having been following this for a while now.
this is really like a schoolboy squabble in a playground. charles clarke has been sacked after gordon brown criticised his running ? of the home office and told his mate tony blair, tony blair listened to gordon brown and sacked clarke, (confused yet ?) now charles clarke has realised he will not get anywhere putting down tony blair so he picks on gordon brown, blair and brown put down clarke with all their friends joining in and it all ends up as one hell of a mess, in short brown told blair to sack clark (phew) does that help

I think Clarke fancies his chances for the top job, and you know what they say - if you throw enough mud, some of it will stick.
He is a t ***er, and should go back to whatever stone he crawled out from under.
I'm no Blair fan, and not particularly a Brown fan either, however, at least Brown has been in his job a decent length of time. Clarke was booted out for incompetence. Nuff said.

Well lets face it Charles Clarke is just SO perfect to become a MEP, sacked how Many times..?.. for being a complete flop..! cocking up eduction & then moving to the home office to screw that up. And didn't he have something to do with the NHS..?
And well he was chief of staff for that other flop Neil Kinnock, WHO I hasten to add landed himself and MOST of his family a very nice high earning job in Bussels

it rather is quite unlikely Obama will actual be our next president. Hillary won't step down with the aid of fact the capacity hungry narcissist ***** ought to allowing him to be the democratic nominee. What the two applicants will do to a minimum of one yet another interior the subsequent six weeks would be far worse than what the GOP could do to them in November. all the at an identical time as McCain is solidifying his base and gaining help. Hillary won't step down for the stable of the country to keep away from a 0.33 consecutive republican presidency. What i've got faith will ensue is that Obama will see the undesirable outcomes and her actual skankiness and bow out with the delegate and familiar vote bring about keep away from mutual destruction(elegant)... Hillary will lose to McCain, have faith that, no remember if Obama is her vice chairman or no longer. there is yet another very achieveable situation or 2 yet i don't sense like writing approximately this anymore. **** Hillary

because he's about to throw his hat in for the pm position and discredit brown to the public so as to make his position more favourable... boxing gloves might be more appropriate at the moment.
